The Avon Grove Charter School Visual Arts Department is dedicated to providing a safe and creative learning environment where students are trained to evaluate themselves throughout the artistic process.

    Through professional instruction, students work to be active learners, develop art content skills, and become artistic risk takers in an atmosphere that encourages individual artistic expression.

    AGCS Visual Arts Department currently has course offerings in Two-Dimensional Design, Three-Dimensional Design, Graphic Design, Ceramics, Black and White Photography, Art History, Video Production, Student News Network,  Portfolio Development, and Advanced Placement Studio Art. AGCS maintains an active chapter of the National Art Honors Society,      The Avon Grove Charter School is situated in rural, Southern Chester County, Pennsylvania. Since its inception in 2002, AGCS has firmly established itself as an educational alternative for families throughout the Chester County Area. With a focus of hands-on learning through a constructivist approach, AGCS hopes to engender a passion for learning that becomes an integral part of students’ lives.
